Flight Mode // A peek into a runner’s colorful internal monologue as she goes for a snowy run through the rugged mountains of Utah, putting her Speedgoat HOKA’s to the test.

As a former All American runner, both writing and directing this one was special for me.

I started with a question I’ve often been asked, and often been irked by: ‘What do you even think about when you run?’ …and a cheeky wink in our runner’s reply: ‘How about, whatever the hell I want.’

The secret: there’s nothing boring about running.

I combined this simple exchange with the glorious abandon of off-kilter camera movement, moonlit trails, and fast-paced transitions balanced with steady moments to breathe. The result captures the release and satisfaction of throwing on your shoes and hitting the trails, shedding the BS and doing it your way.
